An Albany woman has been charged with attempting to provide material support to ISIS in an alleged plot involving the New York State Capitol and Albany City Hall, federal investigators said.
Jessica Bowie, 35, is accused of communicating with an FBI confidential source posing as an ISIS facilitator, photographing the Capitol area and discussing an attack. Investigators said she was arrested Aug. 19 after providing money for a firearm, magazine and ammunition, along with an inert explosive device. The charge alleges conduct from July 16 through Aug. 19, 2026.
