Terms of Use

Effective date: August 24, 2026

ClickNNY is a local information platform serving Central and Northern New York, available at clicknny.com and related pages and services (the “Service”), operated by Webit365 (“ClickNNY,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, creating an account, or receiving alerts from us, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the effective date above will change. Your continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

1. What ClickNNY is (and is not)

ClickNNY aggregates and presents local information for Central and Northern New York, which may include public-safety radio audio and summaries, incident and dispatch information, arrest and court records, obituaries, community events, local news, and a marketplace that connects residents with local service providers.

ClickNNY is an informational and community service. It is not an emergency service, not a government or law-enforcement agency, not a 911 center, and not an official source of records. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any police, fire, EMS, court, or government agency.

2. Not for emergencies

If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911. Do not rely on ClickNNY, its alerts, its audio, or its incident information to obtain help, assess danger, or make safety decisions. Information on the Service may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, out of order, or unavailable at any time. The Service is not monitored for emergency requests and cannot dispatch help.

3. Public-safety audio and incident information

Some content on the Service is derived from public-safety radio communications obtained through licensed third-party providers, and from automated processing of that audio. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Radio audio, transcriptions, summaries, locations, and incident details are provided for general informational purposes only and on an “as is” basis.
  • Transcriptions and summaries are generated by automated systems and may contain significant errors, including wrong names, addresses, locations, and facts.
  • Audio and information may be time-delayed and are never real-time emergency notification.
  • Reported incidents are preliminary and unverified. A dispatch or radio call does not mean an event occurred, occurred as described, or occurred at the stated location.
  • Nothing on the Service is an official record of any agency.

You must not use public-safety information on the Service to locate, confront, interfere with, harass, or endanger any person, to interfere with any emergency response, or for any unlawful purpose.

4. Restrictions on audio and content

Content on the Service, including radio audio, transcriptions, summaries, feeds, data, and compilations, is provided to you as an end user for your own personal, non-commercial use within the Service. You may not, and may not permit or enable others to:

  • copy, record, download, capture, scrape, mirror, or store Service content except as the Service expressly allows;
  • redistribute, rebroadcast, republish, sell, license, sublicense, or otherwise make Service content available to any third party or other platform;
  • use automated means (bots, crawlers, scrapers, API clients) to access, harvest, or extract content from the Service;
  • remove or obscure any attribution, or misrepresent the source of any content;
  • build, train, or supply any competing product, dataset, or service using content obtained from the Service.

These restrictions protect the Service and the terms of our third-party providers. We may enforce them by suspending or terminating access.

5. Records, arrests, and court information

Arrest, blotter, and court information is compiled from public and official sources and from public-safety communications. It may contain errors, may be incomplete, and may lag or conflict with official records.

An arrest or charge is an accusation, not a conviction. Every person is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. Charges are frequently amended, reduced, dismissed, or never filed. The presence of a name on the Service does not imply guilt.

If you believe information about you or someone else is inaccurate, out of date, or should be corrected or removed, contact us at office@webit365.com and we will review the request in good faith. We are not obligated to remove accurate information drawn from public records, but we will consider updates, context, and outcomes.

6. News, events, obituaries, and third-party content

Some content is aggregated from or links to third-party sources. We do not create, verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy of third-party content, and we are not responsible for it. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and are governed by those sites’ own terms.

7. Marketplace and project requests

The Service includes a marketplace that connects residents (“Requesters”) who post projects with independent local service providers (“Pros”) who may respond with quote requests.

  • ClickNNY is a venue and introduction platform only. We are not a party to any agreement, quote, contract, transaction, or dispute between Requesters and Pros.
  • We do not employ, endorse, guarantee, license-verify, insure, background-check, or supervise any Pro, and we make no warranty about any Pro’s qualifications, licensing, insurance, work quality, pricing, timeliness, or conduct, or about any Requester.
  • Any hiring, contracting, payment, and performance is solely between the Requester and the Pro, at their own risk. You are responsible for verifying licensing, insurance, references, and suitability before engaging anyone.
  • ClickNNY is not responsible or liable for any act, omission, product, service, injury, damage, loss, or dispute arising from marketplace introductions or the dealings that follow.

Pros may receive project requests, not guaranteed work, and access to a Requester’s contact information may be gated by the Requester’s actions on the Service. Fees for Pro features, if any, are described at the point of purchase.

8. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account or transact. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

9. User content

If you submit content to the Service (for example a project post, message, photo, PDF, or comment), you keep ownership of it, and you grant ClickNNY a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and use that content to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights to submit it and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.

You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, deceptive, that discloses others’ private information without consent, or that you do not have the right to share. We may remove content and suspend accounts at our discretion.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, infringe any right, interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security, misrepresent your identity, harass or harm others, or misuse public-safety information as described above. We may investigate and take appropriate action, including reporting to authorities where warranted.

11. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, software, branding, text, graphics, compilations, and arrangement, is owned by ClickNNY or its licensors and is protected by law. Except for content you submit and rights expressly granted here, no license to our intellectual property is granted to you.

12. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Alerts you opt into (email, SMS, or push) are subject to the terms presented at sign-up, and you can opt out at any time using the method described there.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be accurate, complete, reliable, timely, secure, or uninterrupted.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClickNNY and its operators, owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, any content, any marketplace introduction or transaction, or any reliance on public-safety or records information. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClickNNY and its operators, owners, employees, and suppliers from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your dealings through the marketplace, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, including for violation of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including restrictions on content, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Jefferson County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

18. Changes to the Service

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including data sources, feeds, coverage areas, and features. Availability of any particular source or coverage area is not guaranteed.

19. Contact

Questions about these Terms, or requests regarding records or content, can be sent to office@webit365.com.
