ARC plans purchase of former Watertown school building

The ARC of Jefferson and St. Lawrence County is finalizing plans to purchase the former South Massey Street School Building in Watertown, which was later known as St. Patrick’s School and the intermediate campus of the Immaculate Heart Central School District.

The building has been closed since 2019. The organization previously rented it during the COVID-19 pandemic and plans to expand services for children and adults if the purchase is completed. Potential expansions include its Bridges program for young people with developmental disabilities and services through its Bright Beginnings preschool and pre-K programs.
