
Carthage chamber releases visitor guide, plans 9/11 remembrance events
The Carthage Area Chamber of Commerce has released a visitor guide and business directory and plans two 9/11 remembrance ceremonies.
The Carthage Area Chamber of Commerce has released a new guide combining visitor information with a directory of chamber-member businesses. The guide includes a calendar and information about local activities and is available online at carthageny.com, with printed copies planned for member businesses and local government offices.
The chamber also plans a small 9/11 remembrance ceremony at its Friday farmers market. A separate, larger ceremony is planned, with details to be posted on the chamber’s website and Facebook page. The chamber’s Friday market includes a noon singing of the national anthem, and the remembrance ceremony is expected to last about 20 minutes.
