Carthage football fundraiser sells 674 dinners

The Carthage Comets football program sold 674 dinners at a chicken barbecue fundraiser over the weekend, according to event organizers.

Players sold dinners door to door, while parents and volunteers helped prepare and distribute the meals. The fundraiser also included a bake sale, with community members donating baked goods and money.
