Clarkson professor appointed executive editor of chemical engineering journal

Clarkson University Assistant Professor of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Simona Liguori has been appointed executive editor of the Chemical Engineering Journal, with the appointment taking effect July 1.

The journal publishes research in areas including energy, environmental technologies and materials science. Liguori’s research focuses on inorganic membranes, membrane reactors, gas separation and technologies related to energy and emissions reduction. She is also affiliated with Clarkson’s Institute for a Sustainable Environment.
