Crane School of Music to host first Brass Summit in Potsdam

SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music is scheduled to host its first Brass Summit from Friday, Sept. 25, through Sunday, Sept. 27, in Potsdam. The weekend is set to include performances, masterclasses, coaching sessions, an instrument exhibit and alumni events.
Seraph Brass is scheduled to perform an evening concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, in the Sara M. Snell Music Theater. Other highlights include a free Crane Wind Ensemble concert Friday, a band director repair clinic and a mass brass ensemble reading session Sunday. Registration is listed at $34 for general admission and $17 for college students and youths ages 17 and under, with all-access passes including the Seraph Brass performance.
