Fort Drum program offers rides home to help prevent impaired driving

A free program is available to Fort Drum service members, family members and Department of Defense card-carrying civilians who need a ride home after drinking.

Fort Drum

A free program is intended to help Fort Drum service members get home safely after drinking. Participants must register and sign a liability waiver that allows a volunteer to drive them and their vehicle home.

The service operates on weekends and holidays from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. within 30 miles of Fort Drum. Service members, family members and Department of Defense card-carrying civilians can call 315-563-3222 or register at www.ddpp.us.
