Free Wildlife Festival planned Saturday at Hawkins Point in Massena

A free wildlife festival is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hawkins Point Visitors Center in Massena, at 21 Hawkins Point Rd.

The event is planned to include a live bird presentation by Adirondack Raptors, displays of exotic and endangered species, reptile and amphibian demonstrations, a farm-animal petting zoo, wagon rides, bounce houses and electric train rides. Exhibits will also feature hands-on energy and electricity activities, including a bicycle generator and a Vande Graaff generator.
