Massena village trustees approved an agreement with engineering firm Navitas for final design work on upgrades to the village wastewater treatment plant. The agreement is not to exceed $835,000.
The project follows an engineering review that identified concerns involving pumps and the plant’s filtration system. Village officials said the design and planning phase will now move forward, but no timeline was available.
