The Village of Massena’s Solid Waste Collection Program is scheduled to end Sept. 30. The program began June 1 and allows one approved large household item to be collected with a household’s regular weekly refuse pickup.
Village officials said hazardous materials, construction debris, mattresses, box springs, sleeper sofas, exercise equipment, tires, bulk metal, paint and items accepted for free at transfer stations are not eligible. Questions about the program can be directed to the Department of Public Works at 315-769-6823.
