Massena to host free household hazardous waste collection Sept. 26
A free household hazardous waste collection event is scheduled for Sept. 26 at the Massena Department of Public Works Building, 85 Robinson Road.
Massena residents can bring certain household hazardous waste to a free collection event scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Massena Department of Public Works Building, 85 Robinson Road.
Accepted items include antifreeze, oil and latex paints, fluorescent light tubes, pesticides, vehicle fluids other than motor oil, solvents, adhesives, epoxy resins and pool chemicals. Propane tanks, asbestos, tires, motor oil, construction and demolition materials, explosives, flares, munitions, auto batteries and electronic waste such as televisions and computers will not be accepted.
