The New York State Fair is scheduled to return next week for its 174th year with new activities, including a trivia room created with Harvey’s Garden in Syracuse and a STEAM-focused day featuring science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics programming. The fair also requires its midway operator to bring at least three new rides each year.
The fair’s food offerings will include Alteri’s La Bella Dolce Gelateria from Watertown, Thousand Islands Winery from Alexandria Bay and, for the first time, Great Lakes Cheese from Adams. The fair’s website, nysfair.ny.gov, lists tickets, parking passes, midway wristbands and event information.
