Ogdensburg awarded $500,000 for Morrisette Park improvements

Ogdensburg is set to receive $500,000 through New York’s County Infrastructure Grant Program for improvements at Morrisette Park, including a covered pavilion and a centrally located, ADA-compliant restroom facility, state officials said.

The project is intended to add a weather-protected gathering space and improve restroom access for seniors and people with mobility limitations. The award is part of more than $38 million distributed for 49 projects across New York State, according to the governor’s office.
