State Police reported that an Ogdensburg man died after a one-vehicle crash Sunday in the Town of Elba.
An Ogdensburg man died after a one-vehicle crash early Sunday in the Town of Elba, State Police reported. Edward J. Trimm, 53, was driving a 2014 Toyota southwest on Newman Road at about 12:47 a.m. when the vehicle crossed the intersection with Old Military Road, entered a driveway and struck a foundation wall, police said.
Troopers and EMS personnel performed life-saving measures, but Trimm was pronounced dead at the scene by the Essex County Coroner. An autopsy is planned at Glens Falls Hospital. Lake Placid Fire and Rescue assisted State Police.
