
Ogdensburg native joins K9 Global Rescue mission in Ukraine
Andrew LaFlair of Ogdensburg recently took part in K9 Global Rescue work in Ukraine, including support for animal shelters and veterinary services.
Ogdensburg native Andrew LaFlair recently traveled to Ukraine as a member of K9 Global Rescue, supporting efforts focused on the country’s dog population.
The work included assisting Worldwide Vets with veterinary procedures, visiting the WOW Ukraine Animal Shelter in Vinnytsia and helping at a shelter in Velyka Sevastyanivka in the Cherkasy region. K9 Global Rescue also delivered a donated Land Rover Defender for use in its work in Ukraine. LaFlair previously served in the U.S. Army and worked as a police officer with the Ogdensburg Police Department.
