Spark by Hilton Watertown is scheduled to hold a grand-opening celebration Nov. 18, 2026, at the hotel at 300 Washington Street. The event is planned for 5 to 7 p.m. in connection with a Greater Watertown-North Country Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours gathering.
The celebration would mark the hotel’s conversion to the Spark by Hilton brand. The property has 126 renovated guest rooms and offers complimentary breakfast, Wi-Fi and Hilton Honors benefits. Hilton lists the hotel’s phone number as 315-782-8000.
The hotel is near downtown businesses, restaurants, shopping, Thompson Park and the Fort Drum area. Visions Hotels has said the property is intended to serve military and government travelers, business guests, construction crews, sports teams, groups and families visiting the region.
The property was bought by Visions Hotels in 2009 and previously operated as a Best Western. It closed in February 2026 after a frozen sprinkler system burst and the city code office condemned the building. The hotel later reopened as a Spark by Hilton in June, with some rooms still being renovated at that time.
The Greater Watertown-North Country Chamber of Commerce’s published 2026 Business After Hours schedule lists events from March through October and again in December. The November celebration should be confirmed with the chamber at 315-788-4400. The hotel can be reached at 315-782-8000, and Visions Hotels can be reached at 315-425-0500 to confirm whether the event is open to the public and whether an RSVP is required.
More information about the hotel is available on the Spark by Hilton Watertown property page. The chamber’s schedule is available through its Business After Hours page.
