The St. Lawrence County Chamber of Commerce will recognize three businesses during its 2026 annual dinner Oct. 28 at the Barrington Student Union multipurpose room at SUNY Potsdam. The awards will highlight businesses serving communities across St. Lawrence County.
LeBerge & Curtis will receive Business of the Year. The Canton equipment dealership has served the region since 1954 and joined the Chamber in 1973, which the Chamber identifies as its longest active membership.
SeaComm will receive the Customer Service Excellence Award. The Massena-based credit union was founded in 1963 by 10 foundry workers and now has nine branches serving more than 55,000 members across northern New York and Vermont, according to the Chamber.
Upstate Candles, an Ogdensburg business, was selected as Local Producer of the Year. The business makes scented candles, wax melts, soaps, scrubs and skin-care products, and operates a storefront at 230 Caroline St.

The evening will begin with cocktails, networking, a silent auction and 50/50 raffles from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Dinner, a Chamber presentation and the award presentations are scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A live auction is scheduled for 8 to 9 p.m., followed by the silent-auction results and 50/50 drawings.
