SUNY Potsdam plans 10th annual Sustainability Day and Green Living Fair

SUNY Potsdam is scheduled to host its 10th annual Sustainability Day and Green Living Fair on Friday, Sept. 25, at the Barrington Student Union in Potsdam. The free public event is planned from 1 to 7:30 p.m. and will focus on “Energy Futures.”
The fair is scheduled from 2 to 6 p.m. and will include exhibitors, an electric-vehicle show with test drives, poster displays and local food trucks. Organizers also plan nearly a dozen workshops on topics including battery storage, fire preparedness, electrical grids, agriculture, nuclear power and ecovillages. The event is set to conclude with a 6:15 p.m. keynote by Dr. Stephen Bird.
