
SUNY Potsdam reports more than $10 million in annual gifts and commitments
SUNY Potsdam said its foundation secured $10,026,698 in gifts and commitments during the 2025-26 fiscal year, exceeding the college’s previous fundraising record.
SUNY Potsdam said its foundation secured $10,026,698 in new gifts and commitments from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026. The total was more than double the college’s original $5 million goal and exceeded its previous record of $6.2 million, set during the 2011-12 fiscal year.
The college said about 2,800 donors contributed during the year, including 333 members of its President’s Club. The foundation’s endowment was valued at approximately $75.7 million, while gifts to endowed scholarships totaled $2.5 million and gifts to endowed program funds totaled $1.8 million.
SUNY Potsdam plans to launch its “Deeply Rooted, Future Focused” campaign during a week of events scheduled for Oct. 19 through Oct. 24. The campaign celebration is planned for Oct. 24 during the Festival of Lights.
