The Thousand Islands Arts Center in Clayton has received a $1,500 grant through the Northern New York Community Foundation’s Nonprofit Capacity Building Initiative. The funding will help cover the nonprofit’s use of the Paychex HR platform.
The Arts Center, located at 321 James Street, offers exhibitions, classes, workshops and community programs focused on art, craft and handwoven textiles. The Community Foundation provides grants and scholarships benefiting communities in Jefferson, Lewis and St. Lawrence counties.
