Tree pruning planned across several Watertown streets through October

Tree pruning is scheduled along Bishop Street, Thompson Boulevard, Washington Street and in the Public Square in Watertown from Aug. 24 through Oct. 12, 2026. Michael Grimm Services will perform the work, which is funded through a grant from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.

Temporary barricades, signs and flaggers may be used in work areas. Pedestrian access will be maintained, and motorists are advised to use caution near crews and work zones. The Department of Public Works listed 315-785-7842 as a contact number.
