
Watertown man charged in alleged Duffy Street stabbing
A 26-year-old Watertown man was charged after police alleged he stabbed another man six times on Duffy Street.
A 26-year-old Watertown man was charged with first-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon after an alleged stabbing on Duffy Street, according to the Watertown Police Department.
Police said the man was arrested shortly before 8:30 p.m. Thursday after allegedly stabbing another man six times with a kitchen knife around 4 p.m. The injured man reportedly suffered a punctured lung, a punctured kidney and internal bleeding and required emergency surgery. The accused man was being held pending arraignment in Watertown City Court, according to police.
