Watertown woman charged in alleged knife threat during domestic incident

A Watertown woman was charged after police alleged she displayed a knife and threatened a 17-year-old during a domestic incident on Aug. 31.

Watertown

Watertown City Police said Yvette Davis, 51, was arrested Aug. 31 and charged with felony criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, menacing in the second degree with a weapon, and acting in a manner injurious to a child under 17.

Police allege Davis displayed a silver kitchen knife and made a threatening statement in the presence of a child born in 2011. The menacing charge involves a 17-year-old male, police said. The weapon charge was elevated to a felony because of a prior attempted petit-larceny conviction, according to police. Davis was held pending arraignment in CAP Court, police said.
