Diane Horey Leonard plans to begin her 100-mile Brainstorm for a Cure bicycle ride at 8 a.m. Saturday at Wellesley Island Market, 43815 County Route 100. Other cyclists may join her for part or all of the ride, and donations are optional.

Leonard organized the ride to support the pediatric intensive care team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, which treated her daughter Rebecca after brain tumor surgery in May 2024. The ride raised $4,000 in 2025, and this year’s fundraising goal is $5,000. As of Wednesday morning, $4,550 had been raised.
