Chestnut Street closure planned for road work in Watertown

The City of Watertown’s Department of Public Works planned road work on Chestnut Street on Tuesday, Sept. 29. The street was expected to close between Sherman Street and Holcomb Street beginning at 8 a.m., with work scheduled to continue through the end of the day.

Temporary barricades, signs and on-site flaggers were planned for the work zone. Drivers were advised to use caution near crews and the closure.
