Crane School of Music hosts alumni-led vocal education residency

SUNY Potsdam’s Crane School of Music hosted alumni Mary Biddlecombe and Tucker Biddlecombe for a two-day vocal education residency on Sept. 21 and 22. The Biddlecombes are faculty members at Vanderbilt University’s Blair School of Music.
The Fall 2026 Joy Anthony Douglass Visiting Master Teacher Residency included classes and workshops for Crane students and faculty on teaching through singing, vocal warm-ups, modeling and voice use. The program ended with an interactive singing workshop involving local elementary students from the Parishville-Hopkinton Central School District and Crane music education and choral majors.
