Gendebien outlines priorities in NY-21 congressional campaign

Democratic congressional candidate Blake Gendebien says lowering costs, protecting rural health care and supporting agriculture and small businesses would be priorities if elected.

Blake Gendebien, a Lisbon dairy farmer and Democratic candidate for Congress, has identified lower costs, rural health care, agriculture and small-business support as priorities in his campaign for New York’s 21st Congressional District.

Gendebien is running against Republican Anthony Constantino for the seat held by Elise Stefanik in the Nov. 3 general election. The district includes St. Lawrence County and much of northern and upstate New York. Gendebien also supports expanded agricultural workforce programs, additional rural housing and economic development using existing infrastructure in Massena. His campaign says he is focused on concerns raised by seniors, veterans, farmers, union members, business owners and families.
