Historic sites across St. Lawrence County set to open Oct. 2-4

Historic sites across St. Lawrence County are scheduled to open to the public Oct. 2-4 for Open Doors to History Weekend, with admission either free or donation-based depending on the location. Activities are expected to include exhibits, guided tours, demonstrations and other programs focused on local history.

Participating sites include locations in Massena, Waddington, Ogdensburg, Rensselaer Falls, Madrid, Canton, Potsdam, Hermon, DeKalb and Macomb. Hours and programming will vary. The event is coordinated by the St. Lawrence County Historian’s Office and St. Lawrence County Tourism Office as part of the county’s America 250 commemoration.
