
JCC plans presentation on North Country health study
Jefferson Community College plans to present findings from a regional health study surveying nearly 3,000 adults.
Jefferson Community College plans to present findings from a study examining health and health care experiences in the North Country, including chronic conditions, mental health and social factors affecting well-being. The research surveyed nearly 3,000 regional adults and includes a focus on women’s health.
The presentation is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026, with in-person sessions at 3:30 p.m. in the Robert R. and Jean S. Sturtz Theater and at 6:30 p.m. in the Jules Center, Building 6, Room 6-002. A 6:30 p.m. virtual option also will be available through Zoom. Dr. Akanksha Misra of SUNY Plattsburgh and Jefferson Community College Center for Community Studies Director Joel LaLone are scheduled to speak.
