Lowville, General Brown football teams begin preseason practices
Lowville and General Brown began two weeks of preseason football practices after both teams won Section 3 championships last season.
Lowville and General Brown began preseason football practices this week as teams across Section 3 and New York returned to the field ahead of the school year.
Both teams are holding double sessions during the two-week practice period. Lowville won 11 games last season and captured the Class D Section 3 title before losing to Tioga in the state quarterfinals. General Brown went 10-2, won the Class C Section 3 championship and reached the state quarterfinals before losing to Chenango Forks.
Lowville returns much of last season’s roster, while General Brown is replacing 17 seniors and several starters on offense and defense.
