Applications are open for projects seeking funding through Ogdensburg’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative, with a Sept. 8 deadline. The application is available through the DRI section of the city’s website, and applicants who need assistance can contact Katie Sovie, the city’s economic development program manager.
The local planning committee is expected to review applications beginning in September and recommend projects totaling between $13 million and $15 million to New York state, which will make the final funding decisions. The committee’s next meeting is scheduled for Aug. 19 from 10 a.m. to noon at the DRI Center.
