Ogdensburg residents can review 19 proposed projects and complete an online survey by noon Oct. 23 as the city considers how to prioritize $9.7 million in Downtown Revitalization Initiative funding. The proposals represent about $24.4 million in total project costs, with approximately $21.2 million requested through the program.
The projects include proposals for housing, businesses, cultural institutions, public spaces and street improvements. Examples include expansions at the Remington Art Museum and Ogdensburg Public Library, downtown apartment and commercial projects, and planned pedestrian improvements on State, Isabella and Ford streets. The projects have not been selected for funding.
