Ogdensburg selects J.E. Sheehan as preferred Diamond National developer

Ogdensburg City Council selected J.E. Sheehan Contracting of Potsdam as the preferred developer for part of the former Diamond National site, according to the submitted report and source material.

The proposal calls for a $175,000 purchase of property for commercial boat repair, marina and storage facilities. The site covers 15.4 acres at 1-2 Madison Ave. and is a former paper mill property owned by the city since 1992. The city spent nearly $3 million on its cleanup.
