The Watertown City Council voted 4-1 to give Power Play Sports two ice-time slots at the Watertown Municipal Arena this season. The private youth hockey training company had requested eight slots.

Power Play Sports will have a 90-minute slot on Sunday afternoons and a one-hour practice period on Friday nights. The arena is also used by the Watertown Hockey Association, Watertown Figure Skate Club and Watertown Wolves minor hockey team.
