Red Cross schedules North Country blood drives for fall

The American Red Cross is encouraging people of all blood types to give blood or platelets this fall as it works to maintain supplies for patients. The organization plans to hold blood drives throughout Northern New York.

The Red Cross supplies hospitals across the country with more than 6.5 million blood products each year. The fall appeal coincides with National Preparedness Month in September.
