The Jefferson-Lewis Counties’ Out of the Darkness Suicide Prevention Walk was held Sunday at the Thompson Park pavilion in Watertown. Participants gathered to share their experiences and walk through the park in support of suicide prevention and mental health awareness.
The event included face-painting and bead-making activities for younger attendees. Organizers said the walk also raises money for suicide prevention programs, with half of the proceeds going to local programs.
