SUNY Potsdam student-athletes will help clear leaves from yards in the village of Potsdam on Sunday, Nov. 8, during the athletics department’s annual Leaf-Raking Day. The service is intended for senior citizens and people with special needs.
The cleanup is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Student-athletes also are scheduled to rake leaves at Bayside Cemetery.
The event is being held for the 19th year. SUNY Potsdam Athletics has organized the effort for nearly two decades, bringing student-athletes into the community to help with seasonal yard work.
