Syracuse police investigate fatal shooting on East Fayette Street
A 51-year-old man died after being shot Saturday night in Syracuse, according to information attributed to Syracuse police.
Syracuse police are investigating a fatal shooting reported Saturday night on the 1800 block of East Fayette Street. Officers responded at about 9:03 p.m. and found a 51-year-old man with gunshot wounds to the chest and abdomen, according to information attributed to the department.
The man was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name was being withheld while family members were notified. The investigation remains ongoing.
