ResultsHow to read the results
- Unofficial. Election-night counts are unofficial. Absentee, early mail and affidavit ballots are counted after, and results are certified weeks later.
- % in is the share of election districts that have reported, not the share of votes counted.
- Source and time. Every count shows which board posted it and when. Some boards post once, when counting finishes.
- Calls. ClickNNY marks a race called only after AP, Fox News Decision Desk or a board of elections calls it, and says who and when. We never call a race on our own math.
- Colours. After polls close, the map shades each area by who leads there. Grey means nothing reported yet.
