Allan Robinson represents District 8 on the St. Lawrence County Board of Legislators. He was appointed to the seat earlier in 2026 after Ben Hull left the board, according to North Country Public Radio, and is now seeking election to it. His campaign Facebook page describes him as a lifelong North Country resident and a father, and the county's official listing gives a Madrid address. NCPR reports that he has military experience. In an NCPR interview he said he would focus on lowering gas prices, cutting unfunded state mandates and reducing the county's reliance on state money, and he said he opposes raising property taxes to cover new SNAP costs.
