In Jefferson County, events include a Fort Drum ceremony at 8:40 a.m. Friday in front of Clark Hall, a Jefferson Community College ceremony at 12:30 p.m. Friday near the Lansing Administration Building flagpole, and ceremonies at Carthage High School, the Watertown Elks Lodge and Watertown American Legion Army & Navy Post 61. Post 61’s Saturday ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m. at 138 Sterling St. in Watertown.
Lewis County Memorial VFW Post 6912 plans an 8:30 a.m. Friday ceremony at 7744 West State Street in Lowville. In St. Lawrence County, ceremonies are scheduled at Veterans Park in Massena, the Canton Fire Station, Island View Park in Waddington and Clarkson University’s World Trade Center Memorial Sculpture.
