Ogdensburg Kiwanis completes Montroy Park field improvements

The Ogdensburg Kiwanis Club recently completed work on the baseball fields at Montroy Park, including changes to pitcher’s mounds, home plate areas and infield dirt. The project took about four days over a two-week period, according to the submitted report.

The fields are used for Kiwanis baseball, softball and soccer programs. The report says the baseball and softball programs serve about 250 children, as does the soccer program. Kiwanis has invested more than $20,000 in Montroy Park over the past two years and received assistance from city employees during the improvements.
