Connor Graveline pleaded guilty in St. Lawrence County Court to two counts of criminally negligent homicide, failing to stop at a stop sign and using an electronic device while driving. The plea is connected to a December 2024 crash in the town of Potsdam that killed two people, according to the submitted report.

The crash happened at State Highway 310 and County Route 34, where a pickup truck struck an SUV after allegedly going through a stop sign. The people who died were identified as Real Coupal, 84, and Loretta Perez, 73, both of Massena.

The plea agreement calls for a one-year jail sentence. Graveline was taken to the county jail, and formal sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 16, according to the submitted report.
