A spent smoke grenade was found in a passenger’s carry-on bag during screening at Watertown International Airport in Dexter, the Transportation Security Administration said.
TSA Officer Yessenia Alvarez noticed the item while operating an X-ray machine and alerted Lead TSA Officer Melissa Graffam. Lead TSA Officer Debra Alcock and TSA Officer Graffam were also identified in connection with the discovery.
