Two St. Lawrence County professionals honored for behavioral health work

Sharon Morehouse of the Seaway Valley Prevention Council and Jeff Silmser of St. Lawrence County Community Services were among six people honored at the Northern Tier Providers Coalition’s annual Conference Awards, the coalition said.
Morehouse was recognized for her work helping families affected by substance use connect with resources and support. Silmser was honored for connecting clients with services and working with other providers. The coalition represents behavioral health programs across Northern New York, including St. Lawrence County.
