Watertown, Lowville earn Frontier League soccer shutouts; St. Lawrence wins

Watertown, Lowville and St. Lawrence each won soccer games reported Wednesday. Watertown shut out Carthage 6-0 in Frontier League boys soccer, with Maceo Lucidi scoring once and Teagan Buckley recording three goals.

Lowville defeated Indian River 2-0 in Philadelphia, with both goals scored by Owen Marcolini. Wyatt Nicol and Connor Hamburg combined for the shutout, while Indian River goalkeeper Lincoln Zaffke made 13 saves.

In men’s college soccer, St. Lawrence beat SUNY Canton 4-1. Nicholas Petrone, Sammy Bothwell, Eric Edmonds and Kenneth Mejia Lopez scored for St. Lawrence; Jonny LaFontaine scored for SUNY Canton.
